Reimagining community safety in Oak Park

Freedom to Thrive Oak Park organized in 2019 in response to the Oak Park police racially profiling our Black and Latinx community members. We are lawyers, data scientists, engineers, artists, parents, and activists. We live in this community. We speak with many voices and have different lived experiences. We examine Oak Park’s policing practices and are using this insight to redefine community safety in Oak Park. Join us. Together, we can build a village where everyone has the freedom to thrive.
